HACU announces Deans' Forum on Hispanic Higher Education
HACU will host a Deans’ Forum on Hispanic Higher Education on October 23, as a post annual conference event. The 26th Annual Conference will be held October 20-22, in Washington, D.C. Deans and administrators can register online. More>>

HACU fall internships deadline approaching Deadline June 17
The June 17 deadline for the fall session of the HACU National Internship Program is rapidly approaching. The fall internship program dates are: Aug. 23 - Dec. 8, 2012, with internship locations in Washington, D.C., and field locations within the U.S. The program is open to all majors. More>>
HACU welcomes 300 summer interns
HACU staff recently welcomed students from colleges and universities nationwide to the HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) orientation weekend, June 2-3, in Washington, D.C. More than 300 students will be participating in the summer program. Most student internship assignments will be from June 1 through Aug. 11. HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores will join more than 100 of the best minds in business, education and government at U.S. News STEM Solutions: A Leadership Summit, June 27 – 29 in Dallas.
The three-day summit of workshops, keynotes, panels and track-specific sessions will focus on current best practices and developing local, state and national action plans to accelerate the development of the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workforce. The U.S. Green Building Council is offering scholarships to HACU members to attend the 2012 Greenbuild Conference and Expo. Scholarships will be awarded to students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders within the higher education community.
