HACU Career Opportunities (9/20/10)

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is currently seeking professionals for the following positions: 

¡ADELANTE! U.S. Education Leadership Fund, Executive Director: Will have an opportunity to structure his/her own development program and shape its activities for maximum effectiveness with the expectation that both the donor base and revenue will grow significantly. Responsibilities include fundraising, program development, public and media relations, marketing, personnel and fiscal management. Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) with extensive knowledge of Hispanic education issue and a proven ability to identify, research, cultivate and solicit major planned gift prospects. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent presentation and public speaking skills, demonstrated ability to raise funds and a minimum of five years experience in development, marketing, or corporate and public relations. Spanish proficiency strongly preferred. Must have experience in Windows environment and facility with spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software. (Located in San Antonio, TX)
