HACU president named among most influential leaders

HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores has been named by Latino Leaders Magazine as one of the "Top 101 Influential Leaders in the Latino Community” (June 2011 issue). Flores was recognized for his commitment to the improvement of education for Latinos. He has served as president of HACU for 15 years.

The “Top 101 Influential Leaders” featured on the list include national leaders in education, government, non-profits, the corporate sector, arts and entertainment, and other fields.  Latino Leaders, “The National Magazine of the Successful American Latino,” is published eight times a year and features a list of the top influential leaders annually.



  

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, founded in 1986, represents more than 500 colleges and universities in the United States, Latin America, Spain, and school districts throughout the U.S. HACU is the only national association representing existing and emerging Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). The Association’s headquarters are in San Antonio, Texas, with regional offices in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento, California.
