HACU announces free webinar on new mathematics resources for educators

The Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities (HACU) will be among the presenters of a free webinar offered to HACU-member institutions about the Developmental Math-An Open Program. The informative webinar will focus on providing information about new mathematics resources for developmental educators.

Session panelists will discuss the focus group research, share a demo of the Arithmetic beta, and preview the next steps in the research pilot program. Plans for a bilingual version of the content will also be presented during the webinar taking place on Thursday, December 8, at 2 p.m. EDT.

The Developmental Math-An Open Program is a project funded by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and distributed by the National Repository of Online Courses (NROC) to help underserved populations make the transition to college studies. Additonal information is available on the project website
