HACU awarded GSA contract

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has been awarded a Government Services Administration (GSA) Contract for its National Internship Program (HNIP). The GSA contract will speed the federal purchase cycle, significantly streamlining federal participation in HNIP.

This year HNIP, the nation’s largest Hispanic-focused internship program, is celebrating 20 years of providing interns to the federal government and private corporations, with total placements approaching 10,000 students, many of whom have gone on to full-time government or corporate careers.



  

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, founded in 1986, represents more than 500 colleges and universities in the United States, Latin America, Spain, and school districts throughout the U.S. HACU is the only national association representing existing and emerging Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). The Association’s headquarters are in San Antonio, Texas, with regional offices in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento, California.
