Nine students from HACU-member institutions, accompanied by their coaches, participated in the taping of the 2012 Hispanic College Quiz (HCQ) show in Chicago on July 28, 2012.
The purpose of the HCQ series is to encourage the appreciation of Latino heritage in an entertaining quiz show format, and by featuring Hispanic college students from across the nation as they showcase their knowledge of Hispanic history.
HCQ will air September 15-October 14, 2012 around the country during Hispanic Heritage Month. The students will be featured in the show as they compete for a chance at scholarships ranging from $1,500 - $5,000 in the final round. Be sure to tune in this fall and test your knowledge of Hispanic history. The TV show listings will be posted at www.hacu.net as they become available
