HACU announces Call for Presentations for 2013 Annual Conference

The Call for Presentations for HACU’s 2013 Annual Conference is now open and speaker proposals will be accepted until April 19, 2013. Detailed guidelines on the submission process are available online (click here). The annual conference will take place October 26-28 in Chicago, Ill.

Speaker proposals under the conference theme, “Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Securing the American Dream,” can be made in any of the following six conference tracks:

  • Grants and Funding Opportunities
  • Partnerships that Work
  • Academic Success for Hispanic Students, Research and Practice
  • Advocacy and Legislation
  • International Partnerships
  • Executive Leadership for Presidents and CEOs

Presentations can be submitted individually or in groups. Submissions for roundtable presentations are encouraged. Submission deadline is April 19, 2013. Notification of proposal acceptances will be sent on June 21, 2013.
