Twelve students from HACU-member institutions were in Chicago on August 24th for the taping of the State Farm Hispanic College Quiz show. The 2013 game show will feature contestants competing for a $3000 scholarship in each show by answering questions on Latino history. A total of four scholarships will be awarded during the series.
The series sponsored by State Farm and produced by Central City Productions in partnership with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) consists of four half-hour quiz shows. Broadcasting will take place during Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated Sept. 15-Oct.15. Specific air dates and times and stations will be announced soon.
