HACU and Denny's award scholarships to five students

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is pleased to announce that five students from HACU-member institutions were the recipients of scholarships awarded through the 2013 Denny's Hungry for Education program. In partnership with leading non-profit minority advocacy organizations, the company presented scholarships to 33 deserving students.

The awardees submitted essays that provided actionable plans to end childhood hunger in local communities. The following students are the scholarship recipients that applied and selected HACU as the partner organization in the application process:


 

The Denny's Hungry for Education Scholarships are part of the 2013-14 HACU Scholarship Program, which also presented the NASCAR/Wendell Scott Sr. Awards, and Travelers Scholarships.
