President of Phoenix College joins HACU’s Governing Board

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has announced that the President of Phoenix College, Anna Solley, Ph.D., was elected to HACU’s Governing Board during a meeting recently held at HACU’s Capitol Forum in Washington, D.C.

Solley was appointed president of Phoenix College on April 25, 2006, taking the position with over 36 years of higher education experience. Prior to her presidency, she served four years as vice chancellor for Academic Affairs in the Maricopa Community College District and from 1989 through 2000, she served as dean of Instruction and assistant provost for Instruction and Student Services at Estrella Mountain Community College. Solley holds a bachelor's and master’s degree in Special Education and an Ed.D. in higher and adult education from Arizona State University, a HACU-member institution.
