International and Foreign Language Education Grants

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education is announcing a number of grant competitions for Minority Serving Institutions or community colleges. The grants are designed to integrate international and foreign language education into programs at institutions of higher education. The Department of Education will be holding a webinar to provide more information about these opportunities.

The webinar will take place June 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. EST. Call-in information will be provided upon RSVP. RSVP to Gaolunha.Vang@ed.gov with “RSVP for IFLE” in the subject line by close of business on Tuesday, June 2 and include your name, title and the name of your institution in the body of the email, and they follow up with the call-in information. The number of phone lines may be limited, so RSVPs will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

More information about these grant programs can be found by visiting the U.S. Department of Education’s International and Foreign Language Education website here.
