HACU’s 11th International Conference Call for Presentations deadline is September 15

Speaker proposals will be accepted by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) until September 15, 2014, for its 11th International Conference: 100,000 Strong in the Americas: Challenges and Opportunities for a More Prosperous and Fair Hemisphere. The International Conference will take place Feb. 25-27, 2015 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Speaker proposals that address the conference theme, 100,000 Strong in the Americas: Challenges and Opportunities for a More Prosperous and Fair Hemisphere, in any of the following five conference tracks are being solicited:

  • Track I – Cross-national Collaboration in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Fields
  • Track II – Creativity and Innovation: Integrating STEM Fields and the Humanities
  • Track III – Resolving Socioeconomic Asymmetries across Nations: High Impact Practices
  • Track IV – Accreditation Models and Protocols for Effective Cross-national Collaboration
  • Track V – Preparing the International Workforce of the 21st Century in the Americas

Notifications of proposal acceptance will made by Oct. 20.
