SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Procter & Gamble, a global leader in the household products industry, awarded a $12,000 unrestricted gift to the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU).

“We are deeply grateful for the support of Procter & Gamble for our efforts to open new doors to higher education success for the nation’s youngest and largest ethnic population,” said HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores.

HACU represents more than 300 colleges and universities serving the largest concentrations of Hispanic higher education students in 26 states and Puerto Rico. HACU also represents an international membership of colleges and universities throughout the Americas and in Spain.

With headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, and offices in Washington, D.C., HACU each year promotes efforts to target more federal and corporate support to Hispanic higher education students and the campuses that serve them. The HACU National Internship Program is the largest Hispanic college internship program in the country.
