HACU/U.S. Army University Tour visits Arizona State University

The HACU/U.S. Army University Tour brought students from 11 high schools from the Greater Phoenix area, including Tempe, Mesa, and Glendale, to the Arizona State University (ASU) to learn more about the college process. More than 200 students participated in the event held on January 2015.

Topics included presentations on admissions, financial aid, scholarship opportunities as well as educational and career opportunities in the military.

Matthew Ellis, director of admissions for ASU and LTC Daniel Roberts, professor of military science for the Sun Devils Battalion were among the presenters. Students also heard from an ASU student’s panel.

HACU/U.S. Army University Tour at ASU included participants from the following schools:

  • Apollo High School
  • Betty Faifax High School
  • Cesar Chavez High School
  • Copper Canyon High School
  • Glendale High School
  • Marcos de Niza High School
  • Maryvale High School
  • Payson High School
