 Strategic Partnerships that provide benefits to HACU-member Institutions

The following is a current list of Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) strategic alliances that offer discounts and opportunities to HACU-member colleges and universities:

Discounts:

  • American Student Assistance - HACU members receive a 15% discount on ASA’s financial literacy and education debt management program called SALT.

     

  • CaMLA - HACU members receive a 10% discount on products designed for college students whose first language is not English.

     

  • DiversityInc - HACU members receive a free subscription to the digital format of Diversity Inc.

     

  • Peregrine - HACU members receive a 20% discount on PAS Exam Services.

     

  • Solution Generation - presidents, chancellors, and senior leaders are invited to join Solution Generation (there is no cost) by signing the Path to Positive at solutiongeneration.org. 

     

  • Taylor Hooton Foundation - HACU members receive a 5% discount on Hoot’s Chalk Talk Assembly Program designed to start the conversation about the use of anabolic steroids.

Other Opportunities:

  • Civil Survival offers community college faculty context-rich curricula for ABE, GED, ESL, and EL/Civics coursework.

     

  • Legal Shield – Legal Shield offers protection services for legal rights, security for families through access to an experienced law firm. In addition, protection from identity theft.
