HACU Study Abroad Scholarships for college students available

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has partnered with study abroad providers American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) and IES Abroad to offer scholarships for students attending HACU-member institutions.

The HACU-AIFS Scholarship is available for outstanding Hispanic students attending a HACU-member institution. Scholarships cover 50% of the AIFS all-inclusive program fee. Students must meet all standard AIFS eligibility requirements. Application, essay and other required documents must be submitted by March 1 for the summer session. April 15 for academic year/fall quarter/fall semester, and Sept. 15 for spring quarter/spring semester. Click here to download PDF Application form.

The HACU-IES Abroad Scholarship is available for first-generation college students and/or Pell Grant recipients that attend a Hispanic-Serving Institution that is a HACU-member institution. Scholarships range from $2,500 to $5,000 per student to study abroad in one of 36 international cities. Application, essay and any other required documents must be submitted by May 1 for the Fall/Academic year and Oct. 25 for the spring calendar.
