 HACU accepting speaker proposals for its 29th Annual Conference through March 2, 2015

Speaker proposals will be accepted until March 2, 2015 for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities - HACU 29th Annual Conference on Hispanic higher education. The conference will take place, Oct. 10-12 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, Miami Beach, FL. Notification of proposal acceptances will be sent on Apr. 6, 2015.  

Presentations can be submitted individually or in groups. Submissions for roundtable presentations are encouraged. Speaker proposals under the conference theme, “Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Empowering Students, Enhancing Collaboration,” can be made in any of the following six conference tracks:

  • Grants and Funding Opportunities 
  • Partnerships that Work 
  • Academic Success for Hispanic Students, Research and Practice
  • Advocacy and Legislation
  • International Partnerships
  • Executive Leadership for Presidents and CEOs
