HACU president and CEO Antonio R. Flores named to Latino Leaders’ list of “101 Most Influential Latinos” of 2015

Latino Leaders Magazine has published its July/August magazine featuring “The 2015 101 Most Influential Latinos." Among the leaders listed is HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores, recognized for his contributions to Hispanic higher education.

Also on the list are two presidents of HACU-member institutions: Tomás D. Morales, Ph.D., California State University, San Bernardino, who also serves as chair of HACU’s Governing Board; and Diana Natalicio, Ph.D., The University of Texas at El Paso. David Hayes-Bautista, Ph.D., professor of medicine and director of the Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture at member institution the University of California, Los Angeles, is listed for his work in local government and health.

In the article’s introduction, the magazine describes the individuals listed as “exemplary individuals who embody the pinnacle of those in our society who have not only risen to the top, but have also dedicated their lives to contributing to education, culture and the success generations to come.”

This list includes leaders in education, government, activism, finance, business, health, science, arts and entertainment and the athletics arena.
