“Smoking Cessation: Strategies to Help Your Campus Quit” webinar
The Tobacco-Free College Campus Initiative will host a webinar at 2 p.m. ET on Feb. 4 to explore how college campuses are addressing cessation across the country. The webinar will include an in-depth look at “This is Quitting,” a novel, multimedia cessation program for young adult smokers developed by the Schroeder Institute for Tobacco Research and Policy Studies at Truth Initiative. Free webinar to address rule on overtime eligibility in higher education
The Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division’s final rule to expand overtime pay eligibility will be released later this year. The College and University Professional Association for Human Resources will host a webinar on “FLSA Overtime: How, When and Why to Prepare” from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 16.
