“Smoking Cessation: Strategies to Help Your Campus Quit” webinar

The Tobacco-Free College Campus Initiative will host a webinar at 2 p.m. ET on Feb. 4 to explore how college campuses are addressing cessation across the country. The webinar will include an in-depth look at “This is Quitting,” a novel, multimedia cessation program for young adult smokers developed by the Schroeder Institute for Tobacco Research and Policy Studies at Truth Initiative. Introduction to Fulbright Scholar Program
The United States Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs will host an introduction webinar on its Fulbright Scholar Program from noon to 1:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 11. To register, click here.

USDA’s Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Education Grants Program
The United States Department of Agriculture Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Education Grants Program applications deadline is Feb. 12.

Free webinar to address rule on overtime eligibility in higher education 
The Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division’s final rule to expand overtime pay eligibility will be released later this year. The College and University Professional Association for Human Resources will host a webinar on “FLSA Overtime: How, When and Why to Prepare” from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 16. The webinar will focus on the dynamic challenges higher education institutions face in responding to the proposed rule changes. For more information and to register, click here.

The Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Bureau of Health Workforce has released the fiscal year 2016 Funding Opportunity Announcement for the Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship Program and will host a webinar at 11:59 p.m. ET on Feb. 18 to provide an overview of the program.
