HACU webinar to address retention, graduation rates

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) will offer a webinar on “Leveraging Campus Resources to Increase Timely Progression to Degree” from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. CST on March 2.

For Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), student retention and graduation rates bring challenges of balancing fewer resources (time, people, money) and a higher proportion of first-generation, low-income and minority students. This webinar will focus on three ways campuses can best leverage resources to develop a comprehensive strategy for aiding student success.

The webinar presenter is Rosalind V. Alderman, Ph.D., assistant vice president for retention management and Title V project director at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Alderman has more than 25 years of experience in working with student success initiatives. Register for the webinar here.
