HACU, KIA Motors America, Inc. accepting scholarship applications through May 27

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is partnering with KIA Motors America, Inc. to award 16 scholarships to eligible students attending a HACU-member institution. 

The KIA Motors America, Inc. Scholarships awards of $4,000 are for students in any major and first generation college students are encouraged to apply. Students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must be currently enrolled full-time as a sophomore, junior at a four-year HACU-member institution or a full-time graduate student at a HACU-member institution in the U.S. or Puerto Rico during the 2016-17 academic year.
  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
  • Open to all majors. First generation college students are also strongly encouraged to apply.
  • May 27, 2016 is the deadline for online application. Supporting documents (enrollment verification and transcript) must be received by HACU and postmarked by the deadline.
