The search has begun for nine undergraduate students from HACU-Member institutions to star in the 2016 Hispanic College Quiz TV show

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is seeking undergraduate Hispanic students currently enrolled at U.S. HACU-member institutions for the 2016 Hispanic College Quiz show, produced by Central City Productions. Online entries will be  accepted through June 20, 2016, 5 p.m. CST.

The quiz shows will be pre-taped on July 30 in Nashville, Tennessee, with nine undergraduate students answering a series of multiple-choice questions on Latino history. For eligibility, click here.

The show will broadcast across the country during Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15-Oct. 15. Finalists will be recognized at HACU’s 30th Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

The purpose of the Hispanic College Quiz is to encourage the appreciation of Hispanic/Latino heritage through an entertaining quiz show format. The series is designed to generate a high level of excitement and enthusiasm by featuring Hispanic college students from around the country in a competition that showcases their knowledge and skills relative to Hispanic culture and history.
