HACU, at 30 years strong, celebrates with fall events and premier conference on Hispanic higher education, Oct. 8-10, 2016

On May 23-24, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) marked the 30th anniversary of its founding in San Antonio, Texas. The Association’s activities this fall include the observation of National Hispanic-Serving Institutions Week, Sept. 12-18, and the Hispanic College Quiz show, set to air during National Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15-Oct. 15. HACU will commemorate 30 years of Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success with its Annual Conference, Oct. 8-10, 2016, in San Antonio.

HACU’s Annual Conference is expected to draw 1,600 conference participants, including 400 undergraduate students, from across the United States, Puerto Rico and Latin America. Workshops will be offered under six tracks, one of which is Executive Leadership for Presidents and CEOs.

The Conference Exhibit Hall will offer a variety of networking opportunities for individuals of all career levels. A College and Career Fair, open to the public on Oct. 9 from 2-5 p.m., will include workshops for college-bound students and their families. Advertising and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
