HACU and KIA Motors America, Inc. announce scholarship recipients

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and Kia Motors America (KMA) have announced the recipients of 16 scholarships in the amount of $4,000 each. The recipients are undergraduate students attending HACU-member colleges and universities, with many first-generation college student.

The scholarship recipients are students from the following institutions:

  • Arizona State University - Jacqueline Bueno
  • Azusa Pacific University - Elysia Becerra
  • California State University, Los Angeles - Lucero Ramos
  • California State University, Northridge - Edith Munoz
  • Heritage University - Clariza Maldonado
  • Our Lady of the Lake University - Brandi Crowell
  • Porterville College - Socorro Ambriz
  • San Diego State University - Thalia Bernal
  • St. Mary's University - Gracie Valdez
  • Texas State University - Carlos Rodriguez
  • The University of New Mexico - Jesus Vazquez
  • University of California, Los Angeles - Mirian Fonseca
  • University of Houston - Arlyn Garza
  • University of Illinois at Chicago - Marbella Uriostegui
  • University of the Incarnate Word - Victoria Mendoza
  • University of San Diego - Ricardo Padilla
