Apply by Feb. 15 for paid summer opportunities nationwide through HACU National Internship Program

February 15 is the deadline for students to apply for a 2017 summer paid internship offered through the Hispanic Association Colleges and Universities' National Internship Program. The summer program offers students opportunities to gain valuable experience working at a corporation or a federal government agency, in Washington, D.C., or at offices across the nation.

Additional information for the summer session:    
The summer internship dates are June 2 - August 12, 2017. To accommodate students enrolled at institutions that operate on a quarter calendar, internship dates are from June 15 - August 26, 2017.

Federal internships include a variety of opportunities with HACU federal partners. Majors in demand are: agribusiness and agricultural sciences, business, accounting, economics, finance, human resources, labor relations, marketing, communications, broadcast journalism, digital communication, journalism, civil/electrical/mechanical and petroleum engineering, information technology, computer science, geographic information systems, library science, law, statistics, natural sciences, biology, chemistry, environmental science, forestry, geology, natural resource management, veterinary medicine, psychology, counseling, social work, public health, public policy, public administration, translation/interpretation (medical English-Spanish).
