Applications for New Awards: Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities would like to notify members that applications are being accepted for new awards for fiscal year (FY) 2017 by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education. Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number: 84.031S.
The HSI Program provides grants to assist HSIs to expand educational opportunities for, and improve the academic attainment of, Hispanic students. HSI Program grants also enable HSIs to expand and enhance the academic offerings, program quality, and institutional stability of colleges and universities that are educating the majority of Hispanic college students and help large numbers of Hispanic students and other low-income individuals complete postsecondary degrees.
Priorities: This notice contains two competitive preference priorities and one invitational priority. The competitive preference priorities are from the authorized activities for the DHSI Program in section 503(b) of the HEA. For detailed information, click here.
