HACU accepting applications for Southwest Airlines ¡Lánzate! Travel Award Program for college students

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has announced applications are being accepted for The 13th Annual “Giving Flight to Your Success™/Dándole Alas a Tu Éxito™" ¡Lánzate! Travel Award Program offered in partnership with Southwest Airlines. Online applications will be accepted through the extended deadline of April 30, 2017.  

HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores says the program has helped many first-generation college students and their families stay connected. “The ¡Lánzate! Travel Award Program, a successful partnership between HACU and Southwest Airlines for over a decade, keeps students close to the people who are their biggest supporters in their journey to a degree.”

Southwest Airlines will award roundtrip e-pass(es) to undergraduate and graduate students across the country who travel at least 200 miles from home to pursue a higher education and meet the eligibility criteria. Eligible students receive e-pass(es) for use by the student or immediate family members to travel to/from a college or university.
