College students gain experience at corporations, non-profits as part of the HACU National Internship Program, corporate component

A total of 19 students have received internship positions with corporations that have partnered with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) to offer college students real world experience.

As part of the summer internship session, students work alongside professionals from the following leading corporations and branch offices: Ford Purchasing, GE, Ford Credit, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Money Management Institute (Pioneer, Franklin Templeton, Fiserv), ACT, Sodexo, Deloitte and ASA.

The Ford Motor Company Fund has also made it possible to offer five students the opportunity to gain experience at non-profit organizations, including HACU. The other organizations are CNC, LULAC, USHLI and Adelante.

Since the inception of the HACU National Internship Program in 1992, a total of nearly 12,000 placements at federal and corporate sites nationwide have been made.
