HACU Emerging Leaders Summit to be held at York College, May 11
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has announced an Emerging Leaders Summit will be held at York College, City University of New York (CUNY) on May 11, 2018. Online applications from undergraduate students will be accepted through April 20, 2018.
The one-day Summit is designed for STEM, business and financial services industry majors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Students enrolled at an institution of higher education within an 80 mile radius from York College are those eligible to apply.
Selected participants to the HACU Summit will have an opportunity to meet with corporate professionals, receive feedback on improving their resumes, interviewing, networking and securing internship opportunities.
Five participants will receive scholarships to attend the 2018 HACU Student Track/Adelante Leadership Institute to be held in Atlanta, Georgia in the fall.
HACU’s Emerging Leaders Summit, hosted by York College, is offered in partnership with CUNY campuses: Hostos Community College, La Guardia Community College, Lehman College, Queens College, and Queensborough Community College.
