HACU, MillerCoors accepting scholarship applications
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is partnering with MillerCoors to award 28 scholarships to eligible students attending a HACU-member institution in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas and Wisconsin. The scholarships awards of $2,500 are open to college students in all majors.
As part of the scholarship, recipients also receive a conference scholarship, and are expected to attend the Student Track regularly offered at HACU’s Annual Conference, now renamed the "HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute." The three-day career development and networking institute will take place on October 6-8, 2018, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Atlanta, GA.
Scholarship applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Miller Lite – Brewed to be Bright - $2,500
- Full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student
- Must be attending a two-year or four-year HACU member institution within the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas and Wisconsin
- Open to all majors
- Cumulative GPA: 2.5
- U.S. Citizen, Permanent Residents, authorized to work in the US, DACA
- Must be 21 years or older
Coors Light – Climb On - $2,500
- Full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student
- Must be attending a two-year or four-year HACU member institution within the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas and Wisconsin
- Open to all majors
- Cumulative GPA: 2.5
- U.S. Citizen, Permanent Residents, authorized to work in the US, DACA
- Must be 21 years or older
