HACU president speaks about diversity and inclusion at AMDC meeting in Dallas, TX

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) President and CEO Antonio R. Flores addressed the American Mortgage Diversity Council (AMDC) on May 2, 2018, during a meeting that took place in Dallas, Texas.

Members of the American Mortgage Diversity Council (AMDC) convened for inclusive conversations and subcommittee updates focused on the most topical diversity and inclusion issues facing the mortgage industry.

Flores was among the presenters and addressed the topic “Pipeline Diversity: Supply Chain, Workforce, Results” to AMDC members, an organization focused on shaping the diversity agenda of the mortgage industry and advancing solutions that support a broad range of diversity initiatives. Flores highlighted how the talent pipeline at HACU member institutions and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), as well other Minority-Serving Institutions, include a diverse student body that represents the future workforce of the Nation.

HACU represents more than 470 colleges and universities committed to Hispanic higher education success in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Latin America and Spain. Founded in 1986, HACU is the only national association representing existing and emerging HSIs.
