HACU Chief Advocacy Officer speaks at ASHE Council on Public Policy in Higher Education forum

Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities’ Chief Advocacy Officer Luis Maldonado spoke on a panel at the Association for the Study of Higher Education Council on Public Policy in Higher Education forum on July 23, 2018. The panel focused on institutional finance and student affordability at Minority-Serving Institutions. Maldonado discussed the topic as it pertains to Hispanic-Serving Institutions.

The two-day forum, held at the American Council on Education in Washington, D.C., aims to connect academia and policy players on the issue of college affordability and explores the processes and impacts of significant public policy issues affecting higher education in the U.S. at federal, state and local levels.
