Aug. 24 is the deadline for accounting majors to apply for the $10,000 Jorge Caballero Student Leadership Award

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities and Deloitte LLP are accepting applications from undergraduate accounting majors. The student selected will be sponsored to attend the HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute of HACU's 32nd Annual Conference, Oct. 6-8, 2018, Atlanta, GA, where the leadership award will be presented during a conference event.   • Campus Climate Challenges: A Conversation with Diversity and Inclusion Experts

    September 14, 2018, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. CST. The webinar for faculty and staff explores how institutions of higher learning often face difficult challenges that impact campus climate.   • Gaining career experience with a paid HACU internship.  September 19, 2018, from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. CST.                  This webinar for students will provide an overview of the HACU National Internship Program and provide information on the internship session, application process, deadlines and more. Aug. 31 – Deadline for Title V program success stories. Share how this grant has made a difference for students on your campus. Submit 500 word count article for publishing consideration in The Voice of Hispanic Higher Education magazine. Email to news@hacu.net and include a university logo and photos.

Sept. 21 – Online registration deadline for HACU’s 32nd Annual Conference, "Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Building America's Future," Oct. 6-8, 2018, Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Atlanta, GA. The Atlanta Marriott Marquis has limited availability in the room block. Saturday, Oct. 6, is sold out. Information on an overflow hotel is available here.
