The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and Big Red have announced the five student recipients of the $1,000 Big Red ¡Avance! Scholarships, as part of HACU’s 2018-19 Scholarship Program.  

The students from the following HACU-member institutions are the 2018-19 recipients:

• Baylor University – Christian Hernandez
• California State University, Fullerton – Adriana Fernandez
• Loyola Marymount University – Veronica Slubowski
• Southern Adventist University – Luis Moreno
• Universidad del Este, Carolina – Dayana Verdejo
