HACU executive director of legislative affairs serves as keynote speaker for Hispanic Heritage Month event

Alicia Diaz, executive director of legislative affairs for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, served as keynote speaker at the United States Government Publishing Office’s Hispanic Heritage Month observance on September 19, 2018. The event themed, "Hispanics: One Endless Voice to Enhance Our Traditions," was at the GPO Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The theme from the event is taken from the official theme of the 2018 Hispanic Heritage Month observance and occurred during National Hispanic-Serving Institutions week which is observed Sept. 17-23, 2018 and takes place during National Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated Sept. 15-Oct. 15.
