HACU National Internship Program accepting applications from college students for paid nationwide opportunities

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced applications are currently being accepted for the 2019 HACU National Internship Program. The deadline to apply to the spring session and some summer internships is Oct. 26, 2018. 

The internship program offers paid internships at federal agencies during the spring, summer and fall sessions. Corporate internships are also available during the summer session and applicants are encouraged to submit their resumes for consideration as early as possible.

Internship program dates and application deadlines are as follows:

  • Spring internships applications are accepted through Oct. 26, 2018, for internship session dates: Jan. 09 - Apr. 26, 2019.
  • Summer internships applications are accepted through Feb. 15, 2019, for internship session dates: May 30 – Aug. 09, 2019. Applicants should submit their online application by Oct. 26, 2018, for consideration for federal sector internships requiring security clearance and corporate internships.
  • Students attending institutions on a quarter calendar have until March 1, 2019 to submit an application for internship session dates: June 12 - Aug. 23, 2019.
  • Fall internships applications will be accepted Jan. 9 - June 27, 2019, for session dates: Sept. 4 – Dec. 20, 2019.

HACU representatives will also be visiting colleges and universities to speak to students about the Internship Program. Preliminary visits scheduled include the following locations: Georgia, Illinois, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Location updates will be made online here.
