On Oct. 5, 2018, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities hosted a “Students in STEM: Youth Leadership Development Forum," at Atlanta Metropolitan State College for over 400 highschool students. The purpose of the Forum was to provide students an opportunity to explore future careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics fields. Topics and presentations included augmented reality, drone technology, and neuroscience. Students also participated in a STEM fair to learn more about careers in the STEM fields. The Students in STEM Youth Leadership Forum was sponsored by the GM Foundation.
