Upcoming deadlines this week | Free HACU Webinar

Nov. 16 is the deadline for students to apply for Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships ($1,000)

HACU has partnered with the Denny’s Corporation to offer the Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships. The deadline to apply is Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. CST. Information about eligibility and online application is available here.

Nov. 16 is the extended deadline for students to apply for the HACU National Internship Program, spring session

Applications are being accepted for the HACU National Internship Program spring session taking place Jan. 09 - Apr. 26, 2019. The extended deadline to apply is Friday, Nov. 16, 2018. Information, eligibility and online application is available here.

Free HACU Webinar: 

Supporting the Mental Health of Undocumented and Immigrant Students - Nov. 30, 2018, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. CST.

The webinar will discuss current mental health issues impacting these students and how to build and implement successful interventions and services across the college campus. With the constantly changing landscape of immigration policy, rules and regulations, and potential changes in the law, undocumented/immigrant college students often deal with undue stress, frustration, and sometimes fear as they face an uncertain future.
