HACU Academia de Liderazgo Leadership Academy l Application/Nomination deadline: April 30

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is accepting applications for its Academia de Liderazgo/Leadership Academy through April 30, 2019. The program is designed to increase Hispanic representation in presidential positions in higher education. Vice presidents and other senior academic administrators at Hispanic-Serving Institutions and emerging HSIs are encouraged to apply and member presidents are urged to nominate and support strong candidates.

The one-year fellowship program will include three seminars, with the first in October 2019, in conjunction with HACU’s Annual Conference in Chicago. The second seminar will lead into HACU’s Capitol Forum in Washington, D.C., in April 2020. The third session will be held in late spring or early summer of 2020, at an international location to be determined. Fellows will be chosen for the inaugural cohort through a competitive application process.

Information on the program, application process and frequently asked questions are available on the program website. Applications and nominations can be made online at: www.hacu.net/leadershipacademy.

A special thanks to individuals that have already submitted nominations and applications.

The extended application deadline is April 30, 2019.
