The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities staff members were in Lake Buena Vista, FL., on Nov. 13, 2019, for its first 34th Annual Conference Host and Advisory Council meeting held at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Fla, site of the 2020 conference.
HACU's 34th Annual Conference, "Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Fostering Excellence and Social Justice," Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2020, will also include an International Plenary, Town Hall, Exhibit Hall, a College and Career Exploration, as well as two days of workshops discussing emerging trends in higher education affecting Hispanics and HSIs.
The HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute (Student Track) is also offered for undergraduate students in conjunction with the conference. Limited scholarships are available.
Pre- and post-conference events will focus on topics such as Latino higher education leadership, Pre-K12 collaborations, and special topics of interest for deans and senior administrators. For more information on the Conference, click here.
