U.S. DOL Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs Relationship Building Engagement Event: Opening Doors of Opportunity Between Colleges and Employers

The U.S. Department of Labor Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs invites HACU HSIs, HBCUs, and TCUs to attend its Relationship Building Engagement Event: Opening Doors of Opportunity Between Colleges and Employers. The event will connect students, career counselors, ADA and Vets coordinators with three major national/international employers to learn about apprentice programs, internships and sustainable careers for students. Announcing the HSI Program Solicitation NSF 20-599
An updated HSI Program solicitation (NSF 20-599) is now available: Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI Program)
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has issued a notice inviting proposals for the Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program. Proposals will be accepted in three tracks: Track 1: Planning or Pilot Projects (PPP) ranging from $200K to $400K; Track 2: Implementation and Evaluation Projects (IEP) ranging from $500K to $1M; and Track 3: Institutional Transformation Projects (ITP) up to $3M.
Important Dates:
A Student Mentoring Plan, as a supplementary document, is now required for all proposals requesting stipends or wages to support undergraduate or graduate students. Conference proposals may be submitted by institutions of higher education and non-profit organizations after consultation with an HSI program officer.
Any proposal submitted in response to this solicitation should be submitted in accordance with the revised NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 20-1), which is effective for proposals submitted, or due, on or after June 1, 2020. Click here for more information.
