HACU accepting applications from college students for Emerging Leaders Summit virtual event, May 6, 2021
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is accepting applications from students to participate in a virtual Emerging Leaders Summit on May 6, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. PDT. The event is being co-hosted with the College of Southern Nevada for students enrolled at a HACU-member institution, located in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. (See list below.) Online application deadline is April 19, 2021.
The one-day virtual Summit includes career development workshops designed for students majoring in STEM, accounting, business, finance, communications and marketing programs with a minimum GPA of 3.0.Workshop topics will focus on career opportunities, tips for resume writing, interviewing, and securing internships. Students will also have an opportunity to meet with corporate and federal employers in attendance. Click here for the application.
Five participants will receive scholarships to attend the 2021 HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute (Student Track) of HACU’s 35th Annual Conference to be held at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, Aurora, CO., October 30-November 1, 2021. (Must be present to receive the award.)
