U.S. Department of Education Invites Applications for New Awards for the Hispanic-Serving Institutions STEM and Articulation Program, Title III, Part F

The U.S. Department of Education has issued a notice inviting applications (NIA) for new awards for FY 2021 for the Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) STEM and Articulation Program. The HSI STEM and Articulation Program supports eligible HSIs in developing and carrying out activities described in section 503(b) of the Higher Education Act (HEA).

Activities must be aimed at increasing science, technology, engineering, and math degree attainment among Hispanic and low-income students. The program additionally supports the development of model transfer and articulation agreements between two-year HSIs and four-year institutions in such fields. Applications are available beginning on April 30, 2021.

Estimated Range of Awards: $700,000 - $1,000,000

Estimated Average Size of Awards: $775,000

Estimated Number of Awards: 96

Deadline for Transmittal of Applications: June 14, 2021

Deadline for Intergovernmental Review: August 13, 2021
