Department of Homeland Security Announces Webinar on Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) Grants

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) TVTP Grant Program is offering a webinar on Tuesday, January 18 from 3-4 p.m. EST. The program provides funding for state, local, tribal, and territorial governments, nonprofits, and institutions of higher education to establish or enhance capabilities in prevention of targeted violence and terrorism. The Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) oversees the TVTP Grant Program and is offering this session to increase the number of grant applications submitted by universities which has been historically low in volume. Most recently, DHS has awarded $20 million to recent grant applicants.

DHS representatives will guide attendees through an overview of the grant, application process, timeline of awards and the funds available. A question-and-answer session will be held at the conclusion of the presentation.

To attend, please provide your name, title, organization with RSVP to DHSacademic@hq.dhs.gov as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on January 17, 2021. If you require reasonable accommodations (i.e. closed captioning), please include your request(s) in your RSVP email.
