NIFA to host webinar outlining grant opportunities available to HACU-Members

On Thursday, April 21 at 12:00pm EST, the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA)’s Division of Community and Education (DOCE) will hold an informational meeting outlining grant opportunities for HACU-members and Hispanic-Serving Institutions. The HACU Government Relations Team will be joined by Dr. Irma Lawrence, National Program Leader at NIFA’s Division of Community and Education. The discussion will serve to educate HACU members on select grant programs offered by NIFA. A description of NIFA and the DOCE can be found below. Click here to register.

      The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) provides leadership and funding for programs that advance education, research, and outreach in the agriculture-related sciences. The Division of Community and Education (DOCE) manages a portfolio of programs that is divided into three themes: Capacity Building; Learning & Engagement; and Workforce Development. In all, DOCE administers 21 competitive grant programs to help build education capacity broadly in all food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences dimensions.
