HACU announces speakers of the Deans’ Forum on Hispanic Higher Education  

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced the agenda and speakers of its Deans’ Forum on Hispanic Higher Education taking place, on Oct. 11, 2022, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. The post conference event will address topics under the theme “Building a Culture of Inclusiveness, Respect and Tolerance.”

The Forum will be moderated by Lisa Alcorta, Ph.D., senior vice president for programs and operations at HACU. The Keynote presenter will be Victoria M. DeFrancesco Soto, Ph.D., dean, Clinton School of Public Service, The University of Arkansas. The afternoon presenter will be Sharon Stroye, director of Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Center, Rutgers University – Newark. The closing presenter will be Martha Garcia, Ph.D., president, College of the Desert. 

The Forum in its 11th year, offers deans from colleges and universities across the country an opportunity to dialogue on the state of Hispanic higher education at their campuses, with table discussions and networking opportunities an integral part of the Forum.
