HACU annual conference to focus on Hispanic higher education

San Antonio, TX- The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) will convene in Denver, Colorado, this fall for its 2008 conference. HACU’s Annual Conference provides a unique forum for the sharing of information and ideas for the best and most promising practices in the education of Hispanics.

HACU’s 22nd Annual Conference: "Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Strengthening the Nation's Prosperity and Opportunity" Oct. 11-13, 2008 Hyatt Regency Denver and Colorado Convention Center, Denver, Colorado. The following Pre-conference events will also be held:

  • Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) Training, Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, Community College of Denver on the Auraria Campus. An Introductory session will be held: 9 a.m.-noon. Advanced session will be held: 1-4 p.m.
  • The 7th Annual Latino/a Higher Education Leadership Institute will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, 8 am–4 pm.
