Several students from HACU-member colleges and universities will appear on national television this fall, to pay tribute to Hispanic Heritage month.
The students, also participants in the summer session of the HACU National Intern program, will record TV spots consisting of messages promoting Hispanic heritage. The messages will air nationally along with the rebroadcast of the Hispanic College Quiz Show during Hispanic Heritage Month, September 12 - October 25, 2009.

Last year, the first “Know Your Heritage: Hispanic College Quiz” series aired nationally and featured teams of students from the following HACU-member institutions: Whittier College - Whittier, CA; Saint Peter's College - Jersey City, NJ; San Diego State University - San Diego, CA; University of Houston - Victoria - Victoria, TX ; East Los Angeles College - Monterey Park, CA; New Mexico State University - Las Cruces, NM; Our Lady of the Lake University - San Antonio, TX, and City Colleges of Chicago - Chicago, IL. Central City Productions, the producers of the show, have partnered with HACU on this national effort.
