Scholarship deadline approaching for HACU’s Annual Conference

There are only a few days left to apply for a student scholarship to attend HACU’s 23rd Annual Conference in Walt Disney World^® Resort, FL, from October 31 - November 2, 2009.

No one wants to miss this valuable learning opportunity being held this year at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Applications are due August 9.

A “Student Conference Scholarship” offers complimentary conference registration, travel, lodging, and meals at conference-sponsored events. Students who receive conference scholarships must attend the Student Track Workshops, Leadership Forums, Student Mixers and a Career Fair in conjunction with the conference.

Students attending the conference have the opportunity to meet prospective employers. Information on career opportunities, internships, and graduate education opportunities are available during the career fair.

To be eligible a student must:
▪ Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
▪ Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate/professional degree program
▪ Have not received a HACU Conference Scholarship for the 2008 Annual Conference
▪ Must be physically attending home institution in the Fall 2009
▪ Must be willing to be sponsored by a corporate or federal sponsor and to meet with sponsor
