HACU summer interns attend end of the summer session events

The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) program kept its more than 450 interns active this summer, not only working with their agencies, but also attending special events that provided networking and career development opportunities.

Several events held at the end of the program included a special briefing and reception by the State Department. Interns had the opportunity to meet with the Diplomats in Residence and top Hispanic officials. The Federal Reserve System also hosted a farewell reception for the summer interns.  Ben Bernanke, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, spoke to interns at the reception.
